The hotel had lovely grounds and a beautiful garden which provided a nice ambience during our city break. The location was great for exploring the surrounding area, and we easily found free parking across the street. The lifts were also convenient as we had heavy bags. The room was pleasant and we enjoyed having lovely views of the garden areas. One huge plus point was the restaurant where we had one dinner and it tasted great.

We found the hotel somewhat outdated and it could have been better. The service was just okay, nothing exceptional.

The area around the hotel allowed for some exploring. there wasn't much variety. the hotel exterior looked appealing, but the dated interior detracted from that. Although the views from our room were beautiful, the room itself was lackluster with some elements even broken. the bathroom was clean but basic. Despite the lifts, the staff's service left much to be desired. the restaurant had a beautiful garden, but the local food was mediocre, neither good nor bad.

There was only one meal option in the restaurant, which was disappointing.

Spent Easter weekend exploring nearby towns, and the peaceful locale made for a great stay. Beautiful grounds and a convenient location for exploring the area were the best aspects. the room had lovely views and was comfortable. the free parking area across the street was a bonus; there was plenty of parking available. the onsite restaurant was a favorite of mine; the typical local food was tasty, and the service was good.

The hotel is somewhat dated in parts, which detracted from the experience a bit. Some areas needed more attentive cleaning, and there were occasional mishaps with housekeeping.
